Don't be afraid of calling 999 as the police will not come out in the event of an overdose.
Do put them in the recovery position and keep checking there breathing and pulse,if they are not breathing.
Do remove any obstructions including dentures.
Do lay on back of a hard surface.
Do head backwards, mouth open.
Do hold nose closed.
Do mouth to mouth.
Do blow air into mouth and let go of nose.
Do repeat this 12 times per minute if they are not breathing or breathing inadequatly.
What to do if there is no pulse aswell as no breathing -
You will need to give a heart massage. Give 2 full breaths without pause to inflate and oxygenate the lungs. Then, find the end of the breastbone and place 2 fingers on the bottom end of it, then place the heel of the other hand next to the fingers, this is the place you need to compress, cover this hand with your other hand and interlock the fingers. Keep your arms straight and press down. You will need to do 15 compressions then 2 breaths and continue with this until the ambulance arrives or the person shows signs of life.
